The seizmic Artificial Intelligence (AI) Workshop on Human–AI Collaboration in Research
Description
This one-day workshop introduces doctoral researchers to the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in academic work and (social) entrepreneurship research. The focus is on both research with AI—how AI (e.g. GenAI or machine learning) can support literature reviews, data analysis, and academic writing—and research on AI, exploring how AI technologies shape organizations, collaboration, and innovation, including within the social entrepreneurship domain.
Participants will share experiences, reflect on ethical and methodological challenges, and discuss EU regulations affecting research practices. The workshop combines short expert inputs, peer learning, and hands-on exercises to support the responsible and effective integration of AI into research workflows.
Key themes
Expected Outcomes
Participants will gain insights into how AI can be used as both a methodological and instrumental tool in academic research. They will also develop a stronger understanding of responsible research practices and identify opportunities for future collaboration within the seizmic network.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 101169098
