
Vincenzo Luise
Vincenzo Luise is a Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Social Sciences at the University of Naples Federico II. He previously taught as a lecturer at the Stirling Management School and completed his PhD and postdoctoral research at the University of Milan. He has also been a visiting researcher at the University of Warwick.
His research explores the cultural political economy of digital technologies and entrepreneurship, with expertise in social media platforms and digital ethnography. He has worked on various national and international projects, including the seizmic MSCA Doctoral Network on social entrepreneurship and innovation as UNINA scientific coordinator, P2P Value on sustainable models in peer production funded by the European Commission, and Short Term City on digital platforms and spatial justice, as well as Rural Hub on economic development in rural areas both funded by the Italian Ministry of Education.
Among his national and international publications, he is the author of the book Le forme dell’innovazione nell’Ideologia Californiana (Bocconi University Press – Egea) and co-author of Antropocene Digitale (UTET). He also contributed to Youthwiki: Europe Encyclopedia of National Youth Policies by developing new national youth policies to support young digital entrepreneurs in collaboration with the Italian government.
