Maxie Matthiessen
Running a social business: 5 things you should know

 

Maxie Matthiessen, a former CBS student, is an award-winning social entrepreneur in the FemTech scene. She has founded two companies: Ruby Cup, a pioneer period company, and FEMNA, a tele-medicine platform for women in Germany. She will talk about her experience, how CBS helped shape her career, and 5 things you should know when running a social business.

Frances Lu
The view of value through ESG and sustainability - reorientation of capital

 Frances currently leads Sustainability & ESG Advisory Services at PwC in Denmark. She has nearly a decade's experience in the field, and was one the first 30 people in the startup of a global professional services firm in Europe, where she established the sustainability practice. Prior, Frances worked in corporate sustainability at A.P. Moller - Maersk. She serves as a Lecturer at the Copenhagen Business School, and is a part of sustainability standards-setting and policy in the EU and globally. Throughout her career, Frances has driven international collaboration on sustainability thought leadership and innovation, most recently leveraging AI for climate change.

Mogens Hobolth
Driving impactful innovation and better access to medicine

 

As the head of Enterprise Systems & Analytics, Mr. Mogens Hobolth sits at the very heart of the data-heavy business model of Abacus Medicine. From data lake infrastructure to machine learning, Mogens leads a medium-sized army of developers, data analysts and project managers which help all parts of the global organization to grow their business. Mogens Hobolth holds a PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
